According to police, yesterday’s stabbing death is Vancouver’s 25th homicide of 2025.
VPD asks anyone with information to contact the Major Crimes Unit at 604-717-2500.
The first homicide of the year was linked to a body found at the beach near Crab Park this spring.
A teen boy was also murdered following a violent altercation near Robson Square in July. An arrest was made in the case after a 17-year-old suspect turned themselves in.
And in September, two people were left dead and two others were seriously injured after a stabbing incident in East Vancouver.
Vancouver police say officers were called shortly before 2 p.m. to reports of violence at a residential building near Vanness Avenue and Spencer Street. When they arrived, they found two homicide victims inside an apartment.
Two additional people were rushed to the hospital with serious injuries. Their conditions had not been released at the time.
