Deputies say 25-year-old Ladeja Pickett was decorating her yard for Christmas in the 4200 Block of Gossan Springs, but her car was in the way.
Pickett asked the girl, who was not her daughter, to move the car. The 9-year-old girl lost control of the car. In the video, you can hear screams as the vehicle crashed into a neighbor’s truck.
The wild ride put Ladeja Pickett behind bars. She’s now facing charges of injury to a child and child endangerment.
The dangerous drive sent the child to the hospital. A laceration to the forehead, as well as road rash on her leg, were among her injuries.
Pickett has been released on a $10,000 bond.
