I’m about to say something a little controversial for me, someone who writes about groceries for a living. Ready? I think a lot of frozen snacks at the grocery store are pretty garbage. Not all, not even most, but a good amount. They’re uninspired, designed to be cheap, always promising flavor but only delivering sodium, and profiting off the average consumer’s need for convenience in modern life. I’m inherently distrustful of the quality of a lot of frozen foods today, but you know what?
None of that is true for Feel Good Foods.
Feel Good Foods, the fully gluten-free brand that your GF friends and family have probably begged you to try before, makes their products with care and you can actually taste the difference. No, they did not pay me to say that. Many of their frozen products (no spoilers, sorry) taste way better than the gluten versions of what you can find on the shelves. No, they did not pay me to say that either. This is one of the brands restoring my faith in frozen meals, and I don’t need them to pay me—I just need them to keep doing what they’re doing.
Alongside my team (who you can watch taste test these in the video below), I tried all of Feel Good Food’s current product line up. Here are their nine frozen snacks, bites, and breakfast you have to try.

- Feel Good Cream Cheese Stuffed Mini Bagels
-
I’m not gluten-free myself, but my roommate and bestie is; for her birthday last year, we drove an hour just to have gluten-free bagels at L.A.’s Modern Bread & Bagel—and I’m here to tell you, I liked these frozen mini bagels almost as much as my $10 GF bagel from Beverly Hills. They have a nice, crisp chew that isn’t too dense (GF bagels can sit in your mouth like cement, and that isn’t the case here), which might partly be thanks to the warm, cream cheese-stuffed center. Since these are essentially scooped bagels, you get the perfect amount of GF dough with every bite. If you miss bagels, definitely give these a try!

- Feel Good Pizza Bagels
-
These are basically Bagel Bites with a little more heft and density. The flavor of the sauce and cheese on these GF pizza bagels is definitely reminiscent of the real thing. One complaint my fellow taste-testers had was that these aren’t as crisp as normal Bagel Bites, but that’s not a problem for me, since I never had the patience to cook those anywhere but the microwave anyway. These are super satisfying, a little squishy like regular microwaved Bagel Bites, and not obviously gluten-free—excellent work as usual, Feel Good.

- Feel Good Chicken Bites
-
My one complaint about these crispy chicken bites is that they don’t come in a bigger bag. They aren’t as good as some of our favorite gluten-free chicken nuggets out there (we bow down to you, Trader Joe’s), but drenched in the sweet and sour sauce that comes with them, I could eat every single chicken bite in one sitting. The breading consists of tempura-fried rice flour and corn starch—it has an actual crunchy crisp to them that’s delicious. Some of my fellow taste testers were more lukewarm on these, since the flavor of the chicken sans-sauce doesn’t really pop, but I’m just impressed they’re actually crispy. GF brands, take note!

- Feel Good Pepperoni Bites
-
I was a little worried the GF wrappers on these little pizza pockets would be too gummy or chewy, but I couldn’t have been more wrong. It’s true that they don’t crisp up like normal pizza rolls, but you know what? It doesn’t! Even! Matter! They have a bit of crunch on the edges from the tapioca starch, and if you watch the video, you can hear my colleague Jordan Myrick call them “mochi pizza rolls” in a stroke of true genius. These greasy little pockets are delicious in their own unique way—my favorite part is the flavor of the salty, smoky pepperoni, which pops more here than in Totino’s Pepperoni Pizza Rolls.

- Feel Good Crispy Jalapeño Bites
-
These aren’t traditional jalapeño poppers, but jalapeño bites—basically, cream cheese and jalapeño bits encased in a thin, golden layer of gluten-free breading. To answer your first question: No, they aren’t super crispy. To answer your second question: No, it doesn’t matter. The flavor of the jalapeño inside is so bright, clean, and zippy. There’s white cheddar cheese mixed in with the cream cheese, giving the filling an extra depth so you won’t get sick of just eating fried cream cheese. This might be my favorite party snack find from this ranking; there’s enough of them to go around, the filling doesn’t lose its creamy texture when they cool off (unlike mozz sticks and mac and cheese bites), and the flavor is a true crowd-pleaser. Yum!!!

- Feel Good Chicken Soup Dumplings
-
Gosh, I love these soup dumplings so much. I actually can’t believe they aren’t in first place. I’d venture to say these are the only GF soup dumplings you can buy right now (correct me if I’m wrong, reader), and it’s not like these are easy to find restaurants, either. I will admit that the dumpling wrapper is a little gummy if you’re an absolute stickler for texture, but not in a way that’s even remotely distracting. That burst of hot savory broth is a straight dopamine hit. Soup dumplings are a top-five all-time favorite food for me, so I’m a passionate critic. If you’re gluten-free, these are worth every darn penny—again, my complaint is that there simply aren’t enough in one box!

- Feel Good Mozzarella Sticks
-
The fact that these gluten-free mozzarella sticks are better than almost every other brand on the market really just proves my initial point: Making good gluten free snacks is a labor of love for Feel Good Foods and you can taste it. Every bite is so immediately flavorful, with a lightly greasy, extremely juicy, noticeably tangy mozzarella center and dreamy cheese pull. No, the breading isn’t super crisp, but that mozzarella seriously makes up for it. I’m salivating just thinking about it.

- Feel Good Everything Cream Cheese Stuffed Bagels
-
Take every compliment I gave to Feel Good’s plain mini bagels and add a scrumptious, umami everything-bagel seasoning to go along with it. You can tell by the way these tear artfully in your hands that the dough is soft and fresh, with the perfect amount of cream cheese inside (you don’t need that much, because the GF dough is yummy on its own, so there’s no reason to distract from it) to complement the salty-savory spices. This is a hallmark product I will quite literally think about for years to come; it’s the perfect before-school breakfast for your GF kids. I understand opting for the plain stuffed bagels if you want to add your own toppings, but you must try these, too.

- Feel Good Mac and Cheese Bites
-
Once again, for the thousandth time, Feel Good makes a product that’s better than most of the versions at the grocery store that do contain gluten. My gosh, these are so yummy. The rice flour is light and crisp and a little greasy; you would honestly never guess that the breading, or the pasta inside, is gluten free. The cheddar, parm, and mozzarella cheese sauce is so tangy, creamy, and rich without being too heavy. Do you know how hard it is to find good frozen mac and cheese bites? I get that this is a niche appetizer in general, one that confuses children and adults alike, but you’re talking to a real mac bites believer here. If you’re a skeptic, just let these convert you. These are such a win for the GF community and fellow mac bite truthers like myself. Feel Good Foods, I’m so, so impressed.
