JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — UPDATE, 10:09 AM: The scene near the Post Office where a suspicious item was found on Beach Boulevard has been cleared. No device was found.

Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office has responded to a suspicious item near the U.S. Post Office, 10700 Beach Blvd. There is a large police presence in the area.
