SAN ANTONIO – A train has collided with a tractor-trailer, causing traffic delays between Lacoste and Natalia.
Around 4 p.m. on Thursday, first responders were called to the scene of an accident involving a train and a tractor-trailer at the corner of County Road 5701 and FM 471.
According to the Medina County Fire/EMS Facebook page, Station 11 was called to the scene of the collision.
Upon arrival, they found a semi-truck with severe damage, as well as the locomotive, which had come to a halt.
No injuries were reported, and both lanes of 471S are open, but use caution in the area.
The crossing itself will be closed for an extended period of time as crews work to clear the vehicles, as well as any other debris.
