It is proving to be a rough Friday morning for certain commuters who are traveling via the George Washington Bridge or the Cross Bronx Expressway.

Eastbound lanes of the Cross Bronx Expressway from Exit 2A to Exit 2B are shut down because of a multi-car accident and fuel spill, according to the FDNY. The crash, which resulted in two minor injuries, is causing traffic to be at a standstill both ways — and also provoking delays to trickle back to the George Washington Bridge.

Eastbound traffic at the GWB is over 90 minutes.

Commuters should look into alternate routes if possible.
