SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office arrested a local man on child pornography charges after an FBI investigation.
On Thursday, Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies in collaboration with the FBI Child Exploitation Task Force were alerted to a sexual offense involving a child. The investigation identified Thomas Lee Teague, a Bexar County resident, as a suspect in distributing illegal child-related content via a messaging app.
Authorities discovered that Teague had been using the app to solicit and receive child pornography. A search of the suspect’s account confirmed communication with the user “Tommy.Williams012,” later identified as Teague. Further records and subpoenas verified his identity, email accounts, and phone number.
Deputies obtained warrants for Teague and his residence. At approximately midnight, deputies arrested Teague at his home without incident. He was taken into custody for an active warrant related to child pornography and is currently held at the Bexar County Jail on a $125,000 bond.
