Talking birds are some of the funniest, most entertaining little companions around. It’s always a surprise as to what they’ll say or do next (good or bad!). And because they bond deeply with their humans, they’re more than capable of expressing when they’re worried or sad if their people leave.
Furby the Cockatoo loves Mom, but big brother is his real BFF. So, when he has to leave for an appointment in his big truck, Furby has a lot of feelings that come out in the most hilarious way.

I have a Top 10 Cockatoos list rolling in my head at all times, and Furby is among them. He’s just so sweet and loving—particularly when it comes to his human bro. Watch his reaction to the big, scary truck taking his bestie away.
I’m not sure if it’s the sound of the truck, how big it is, or the fact that his brother’s leaving that bothers Furby most, but the minute-long clip is too precious.
“Why did the truck turn him into a velociraptor?!” one fan asked. “He did not like the big truck near his brother and best friend,” another joked. “He went full dinosaur mode when he saw the truck,” another follower added.
Maybe if the ridiculously cute Cockatoo thing doesn’t work out, Furby can travel back to the Jurassic Period and do his thing!

If the bond between Furby and his brother didn’t steal your heart, I have just the thing. In a follow-up post, the adorable bird wanted to watch Hamilton, but the cloud was down and wouldn’t connect. To fill the void in his heart, he sings about how much he loves Hamilton, and it’s too much!
Cockatoos Are Fun, Little Sidekicks—for the Right Families
Whether he’s thrilled over firefighters saying hello or singing a love song for his beloved doctor, Furby really is a sweetheart. Cockatoos need quite a bit of attention, and they love being the center of any party, so they’re not right for everyone. But for the families able to commit to providing all they need, you can see how much love they have to give just by watching some of Furby’s videos.
Now, big brother can’t leave anymore because I don’t like seeing Furby get worked up over it!
