Fire and Rescue authorities reported that the fire that broke out at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem has been contained. “Teams continue to conduct checks and clear smoke as needed,” they stated. The hospital reported that the fire, which “broke out in a rear shaft in the operational area of the hospital building, in an area distant from patients and visitors, was extinguished after a short time. Several patients were transferred from two departments where smoke was detected, until the area could be ventilated.”
