Colin Fitzgibbons, president of Hunt Realty Investments, dies at 46.

Colin Fitzgibbons, who led one of the most influential real estate firms in North Texas as president of Hunt Realty Investments LLC, has died at age 46.
Prior to joining Hunt in 2020, Fitzgibbons was an executive at KDC, where he helped develop the multibillion-dollar CityLine and Legacy West mixed-use campuses in Richardson and Plano, respectively. Prior to that, he served as tenant rep broker for The Staubach Co. in New York City. He also briefly worked as a sports reporter for the Washington Post.
The cause of death was not immediately known. A spokesperson for Hunt Realty did not immediately return a request for comment.
Outside of work, Fitzgibbons served on the boards of Downtown Dallas Inc. and The Real Estate Council and was part of the advisory board for the Robert and Margaret Folsom Institute For Real Estate at Southern Methodist University.
