Major two-alarm fire breaks out at apartment complex, crews fighting back flames

SAN ANTONIO – A major fire has broken out at an apartment complex on the North Side.

Around 10:12 p.m. on Saturday, over 35 units were called to the scene of a large fire at an apartment complex near the corner of I-10 and Huebner Oaks.

According to the San Antonio Fire Department, a fire had broken out between floors of the large apartment complex.

Residents were evacuated from the apartments and remained in the parking lot as crews worked to combat the spread of the fire.
