Charlene Speer, age 91, passed away peacefully on November 18, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. A woman of kindness, warmth, quiet strength, and unwavering faith, Charlene lived a life defined by her deep love of the Lord and her devotion to family and community. A funeral service celebrating Charlene’s life will be held on Monday, December 1, 2025, at 12 p.m. in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, November 30, 2025, in the Breyley Suite at Mount Olivet. Charlene made her home in Fort Worth, where she spent most of her years nurturing a home filled with love, laughter, and faith. She married the love of her life, Herschel, sharing a partnership built on devotion, gratitude, and mutual support. Together, they created a life rich in love and enduring memories. Known for her sincerity, calming presence, and generous heart, Charlene touched countless lives. Her faith guided everything she did-she lived with compassion, patience, and quiet strength, inspiring those who were blessed to know her. She prayed earnestly, loved deeply, and trusted fully in the Lord throughout her life. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Herschel. Charlene is survived by her daughter, Linda Mills and husband, Dean Mills; her son, Steve Speer and wife, Alicia Speer; her beloved grandchildren, Misty and husband, John, Heather and husband, Joe, Courtney and husband, David and Zachary; and her cherished great-grandchildren, Colton, Autumn, Chamberlain, Cheyenne, Syrus, Brendan and Emory. Charlene’s legacy lives on in the hearts of her family and all who knew her-a legacy of grace, devotion, and a life lived with deep love for God and others.
