Brooke St. George was born and raised in Tempe and graduated from Corona del Sol High School. After high school, she went to college at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth to major in journalism and communications. After college, she spent two decades abroad until she learned that she was pregnant. Then, she and her significant other returned to the United States to raise their son. In 2016, she moved to Tempe to live in the city she knew all too well.
Now, she is running for one of the three open Tempe City Council seats with the first election on March 10, 2026.
St George is not only the mother of a teenager, but the daughter of an aging parent. After several decades in Tempe, her mother moved to Chandler with access to better resources and housing that she couldn’t find in Tempe.
