The Orpheus Male Chorus of Phoenix presents its Holidays with Orpheus concert series 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, at the American Lutheran Church of Sun City, 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd.
Now in its 97th season, Orpheus continues its tradition of bringing communities together through song, and several choristers are Sun City and West Valley residents.
The program blends sacred works, global holiday carols and favorites, including audience sing-alongs. Highlights include “Gloria, Op. 52” by William Mathias, the Nigerian carol “Betelehemu” and “The First Noel,” arranged by Dan Forrest. Joining the chorus this season are organist Dr. Steven Gray and violinist Courtney Pinski.
Tickets range from $20 to $35, with children age 12 and younger entering free.
