A man and a woman were pronounced dead at a south Phoenix home, and two other men were taken to the hospital.
PHOENIX — Two people are dead and two more are injured after a shooting in south Phoenix, the city’s police department said.

Phoenix police responded to a home near Baseline Road and 40th Street in south Phoenix regarding a domestic violence call on Sunday afternoon. The caller told police that “gunshots were being fired from inside of the residence,” police said.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found several people inside the home. A woman and a man were pronounced dead at the scene, and two other men were taken to the hospital. One of the men has non-life-threatening injuries, and the other has life-threatening injuries.
Police did not release any other information regarding what led up to the shooting or any information on the identities of the individuals involved.
