The rivalry between CM Punk and Seth Rollins reignited Saturday at Fanatics Fest NYC in New York.

Video circulating online shows Punk interrupting Rollins’ entrance at the event. As Rollins posed with the Money in the Bank briefcase, Punk emerged from the crowd and climbed over a table to confront him. The two exchanged words before Rollins shoved Punk twice. Punk responded, but security quickly pulled them apart before the confrontation escalated.

Footage of the altercation was shared by both Fanatics and WWE on their social media platforms.

Later, during the SummerSlam kickoff press conference, Michael Cole referenced the incident while interviewing John Cena.

“I was enjoying myself at the Fanatics Fest entranceway, but I just wasn’t the only one enjoying myself,” Cena said, encouraging fans to search for the video online.

Both Rollins and Punk also appeared during the press conference. Rollins interrupted Jey Uso’s segment, calling him his favorite to win the King of the Ring tournament. But Rollins reminded everyone of his Money in the Bank contract and said he would be the next World Heavyweight Champion. He made no mention of the earlier altercation with Punk.

Punk was similarly tight-lipped when asked about the situation.

“Both those guys are always copying me. I’m a real trendsetter,” Punk said of Cena and Rollins during his segment with Cole and Rosenberg.

Although the confrontation was brief, the Punk-Rollins feud is far from over. But their feud will have to wait for now. Punk is set to face John Cena for the Undisputed WWE Title next Saturday at Night of Champions. Meanwhile, Rollins will likely have to contend with LA Knight after Rollins’ faction cost Knight several matches in recent weeks.
