Police in Anaheim are looking for at least two people who hit a young boy with their car while he was riding an e-bike and then left the scene Sunday night.
The 12-year-old was riding an e-bike at the time of the incident near Topeka and North streets at around 8L45 p.m.
Surveillance video caught the moment of impact.
Police said the driver was in a red 2016 Honda Accord and may have been under the influence.
That same driver crashed again not long after the initial incident and abandoned the car, police said.
The child is recovering from a broken leg and a concussion.
