SAN ANTONIO — A man was shot dead in an apartment complex parking lot on the Northeast Side early Friday morning.
The shooting happened around 4:06 a.m. at the Oakstone Apartments located off of NE Loop 410 and Perrin Beitel.
Police say a man was sitting in his car in the parking lot when another vehicle came around checking vehicles. The victim and suspect got into an altercation and one shot was fired, striking the victim.
First responders attempted life-saving measures however the victim was pronounced dead on scene. Police say the suspect fled the scene in a black vehicle.
No other injuries were reported. The investigation is ongoing.
