Editor’s note: Featured pets may be adopted quickly, but there are always others ready for their forever home.

At the Humane Society of North Texas, adoption is about changing lives, one match at a time. Learn more about adoptions at HSNT’s Fort Worth and Keller locations, or at off-site adoption events held six days a week at HSNT.org.

At the Humane Society of North Texas, magic happens every time a pet finds a home.

Thousands of dogs, cats, and small pets have already been adopted this year through HSNT’s lifesaving programs, each one opening space for another animal in need. As shelters across the region face intense overcrowding, HSNT continues to step in as a trusted partner, providing relief and hope for pets and the people who love them.

This week, the Humane Society of North Texas is celebrating a bit of theatrical fun. With the film “Wicked: For Good” capturing audiences across North Texas, several adoptable pets stepped into the spotlight for a themed photo shoot. Whether you’re Team Glinda or Team Elphaba, there is a tiny spellcaster waiting to enchant your home.

Michael, a 4-month-old tabby, is the bold adventurer of the group. With bright eyes and a curious streak, he behaves as if he has already mastered a few spells of his own. Michael loves to explore, play and then settle into a warm lap when his energy fades. He is charming, confident and ready to bring a spark of mischief to the right family.

Christine, a 3-month-old snowshoe kitten, has a softer kind of magic. She moves with grace, watches the world with expressive blue eyes, and always seems to be thinking two steps ahead. She is affectionate, gentle and the kind of kitten who forms deep bonds with the people who take her home. Christine may be small, but she creates a calm, comforting presence wherever she goes.

Lorenzo, a 2-month-old puppy with a studious look and a heart full of enthusiasm, completes the trio. He approaches the world like a young wizard in training, curious about everything and eager to learn. Lorenzo loves attention, thrives on encouragement, and brings a joyful, playful energy to every room.

These pets are ready to cast a spell of happiness in a forever home, bringing charm, devotion and just enough whimsy to make every day brighter — for good.
