PHOENIX – Authorities canceled a SAFE Alert on Wednesday morning for a 61-year-old Phoenix woman who went missing earlier this week.
Raquel Zamorano, who was last seen on foot near 16th Street and Osborn Road around 1 p.m. Monday, was located at a local hospital and is “being treated for dehydration,” authorities said.
Zamorano, who is Native American, is described as 4 feet, 11 inches tall and 135 pounds, with brown/gray hair and brown eyes.
She suffers from a medical condition that can cause her to become confused or easily lost, according to the missing persons bulletin.
SAFE Alerts have replaced Silver Alerts in Arizona as way to spread the word about missing persons who are 65 and older and missing persons who have dementia or developmental/cognitive disabilities.
