GLENDALE, Calif. (KABC) — The countdown to unwrapping presents this holiday season is officially on.
Shopping centers across Southern California are gearing up to welcome crowds on the hunt for special gifts. Many others are looking to get their hands on Black Friday deals.
Citadel Outlets in Commerce is set to open on Thanksgiving night at 8 p.m. and plans to stay open through 11 p.m. Friday.
The Glendale Galleria is ready for the Black Friday rush, too.
“We’re going to have customers who are ready to be here at 8 a.m., 9 a.m., the second the doors open, and traffic is going to continue to flow and it’s all going to go great,” said Alex Cover with the Glendale Galleria.
Malls across Southern California are gearing up to welcome Black Friday shoppers on the hunt for special gifts.
Shopping online is easier, but for some, visiting the stores on Black Friday is part of the Thanksgiving tradition.
“Shopping in person gives people an immediate satisfaction,” Cover said.
