PHOENIX — Matilda’s All Day Cafe, a new restaurant in downtown Phoenix, is set to open this winter.
The new restaurant, located in Roosevelt Row near Roosevelt Street and Seventh Avenue, will occupy a 1,860 square-foot historic 1914 bungalow that has been turned into a cafe. An official opening date has yet to be revealed.
The restaurant will offer guests several features, including a service counter, bar, two dining rooms, a lounge and a back patio, according to a news release.
“Matilda’s is meant to feel familiar from the moment you walk in, warm, lived-in, and full of small, meaningful details,” owner Devon McConville said in the release. “Whether someone stops in for a morning coffee or meets friends at night for wine and snacks, our goal is a space that feels grounding, nostalgic and welcoming.”
What will be offered at Matilda’s All Day Cafe?
Matilda’s All Day Cafe will feature a menu that will offer coffee, pastries, breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Drinks other than coffee will include beer, wine, cocktails and non-alcoholic options.
The culinary program at the restaurant is led by Head Chef Matt Celaya, known for pop-up restaurant Mas Amable.
