Dallas police said Sunday that a person was arrested in connection with a fatal multi-vehicle weekend wreck in the Turtle Creek area of Dallas that left one person dead and two others critically injured.
The deadly collision occurred at 5:25 p.m. at the intersection of Turtle Creek Boulevard and Gillespie Street, according to an emailed statement from Dallas police.
Officials did not immediately identify the person who was killed or the person who was taken into custody.
According to the statement, investigators said one victim died at the scene. Dallas Fire-Rescue crews responded and transported two other unidentified victims to a local hospital where they were said to be in critical condition Sunday evening.
