Weather changes could bring light showers, snow to parts of Arizona

  • December 1, 2025

PHOENIX (AZFamily) — After highs reached the mid-70s Sunday afternoon, a cooler weather pattern takes over this week. A few clouds move in tonight into early Monday morning with lows around 51. Highs on Monday will reach around 71, which is just above the normal of 69 degrees. Breezes will pick up in the lower Colorado River Valley as a disturbance passes by to our north.

Highs will stay near normal on Tuesday, at 70, then drop into the upper 60s on Wednesday. Another disturbance moves through Wednesday night into Thursday. This will bring a slight chance of showers on Wednesday night and a 20% chance of showers on Thursday.

Whether the showers materialize or not, Thursday will be cooler with highs only in the mid-60s. Lows will drop to the mid to upper 40s by Friday morning. Friday afternoon will be cool and sunny with highs in the mid-60s. Next weekend looks pleasant with mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 60s.

In the high country, scattered rain and snow showers are expected tonight into Monday morning in northeastern Arizona. A few inches of accumulation are possible near the Four Corners. For Wednesday and Thursday, another system will drop in, bringing rain and accumulating snow. Snow levels will drop to about 5,000-6,000 feet. Up to 3 inches of snow is possible, with higher amounts at higher elevations.
