ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – With the holiday season officially underway, River City Live stepped back inside Byron Chandler Interiors at the Fountains at St. Johns to spotlight one of the area’s most distinctive destinations for luxury gifts and home décor.

During our visit, owner and lead designer Byron Chandler shared how the showroom—best known for its interior design services—has also become a go-to stop for unique, beautifully presented gifts.
“We would love for people, even if they’re not doing an interior design job, just to stop in,” Chandler said, noting the studio’s curated selection of home accessories, florals, serving pieces, and boutique fragrances.
A Scent-Driven Design Philosophy
A standout feature of the showroom is its extensive home fragrance collection, centered around Glasshouse, an Australian line Chandler discovered at Market in Atlanta. The fragrances—ranging from holiday scents to everyday aromas inspired by global destinations like the Amalfi Coast and Milan—are crafted from the personal travel experiences of the brand’s founder. Chandler emphasized how scent plays a powerful role in design.
“When you step into somebody’s home and it smells incredible… you automatically feel like this is a place you want to hang out,” he explained. “Scent is a big part of your emotional process.”

In addition to fragrances, the shop showcases an array of holiday décor, serving pieces, and artisan gift items—many of which customers would be hard-pressed to find elsewhere. One featured line is designer Julia Knight’s hand-enameled, food-safe serving ware, which is elegant enough for display and durable enough for oven use up to 250 degrees.
Every purchase also receives Byron Chandler Interiors’ signature presentation. The studio has become known for its meticulously designed gift wrapping, complete with luxe materials that make any gift stand out at a party.
“Who doesn’t want to host a party and walk up with this beautiful bag?” Chandler said while showcasing one of their custom wraps. “That’s the one getting opened first.”
