SEGUIN, Texas – The Guadalupe County Sheriff’s Office is responding to an overturned cement truck on Highway 46, leading to the closure of both the northbound and southbound lanes between Cordova Road and Link Road.
Motorists are being urged to seek alternate routes to avoid significant delays.
The operator of the truck was temporarily trapped inside the vehicle but was safely removed by first responders. The operator was evaluated by Emergency Medical Services (EMS) personnel at the scene and declined transport to the hospital. There are no reports of serious injuries or fatalities.
Deputies from the Sheriff’s Office remain on the scene to assist with traffic control and ensure public safety. The office stated that updates will be provided as information becomes available.
