  • Sunny’s Lounge in Phoenix got a retro-chic holiday makeover. It’s now full of tinsel, vintage ornaments, glowing lights and 1970s-inspired cocktails. The playful celebration runs through Jan. 5.
  • Bitter & Twisted in downtown Phoenix goes tropical for the holidays with tiki mugs, rum-heavy cocktails and playful island vibes. The festive Christmas-tiki mashup runs through Dec. 31.
  • Carry On, downtown Phoenix’s retro jet bar, transforms into a Polar Express fantasy with warm spiced cocktails, nostalgic treats and immersive photo ops. The festive experience runs through Dec. 30.
  • Royale Kitchen & Cocktails in Phoenix has flipped into a pink winter wonderland with flamingo décor, tropical-holiday cocktails and candy-colored photo ops. The festive “Miami Christmas Party” vibe runs through Jan. 15.
  • Thunderbird Lounge Phoenix is turning into the Melrose Holiday Pop-up Bar from Mondays to Thursdays from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Festive cocktails, twinkling décor and photo ops are all available. Tickets are $16.45.
  • Little Rituals Bar in downtown Phoenix transforms into an upscale holiday pop-up with twinkling lights, luxe garlands, whimsical glassware and inventive festive cocktails. The glamorous celebration runs through Jan. 4.
  • Floor 13 Rooftop Bar in Phoenix is themed like a cozy ski lodge with fireplace vibes, seasonally crafted cocktails and a chairlift photo op. The Grinch will make a special appearance on Dec. 12, 18, 19 and 22.
  • Trophy Room in downtown Phoenix becomes a gingerbread-inspired holiday escape with candy-cane accents, warm lighting and dessert-driven cocktails. The cozy celebration runs through Jan. 4.
  • 36 Below, a lounge beneath Sip Coffee & Beer in Arcadia, transforms into a NYC-inspired holiday speakeasy with towering décor, theatrical lighting and five dramatic, Instagram-ready cocktails. The festive vibe runs through Jan. 5.

  • Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort is now offering holiday cocktails, bites and festive décor from Thursdays to Saturdays, 5-10 p.m, through Dec. 31.
  • Chandler’s Living Room Wine Cafe & Lounge launches A Griswold Family Christmas Pop-Up Bar through Jan. 9 with 5,000 lights, festive bites, cocktails and nostalgic holiday chaos.
  • Omni’s Oasis Bar in Scottsdale transforms into a luxe alpine holiday hideaway with twinkling lights, cozy seating, and wintry cocktails. The upscale celebration runs through Jan. 5.
  • Salt and Lime Modern Mexican Grill in Scottsdale is bringing cheerful Mexican holiday vibes with bold décor, piñatas and cocktails featuring cinnamon, citrus and agave through Dec. 30.
  • 50 Shades of Rosé in Scottsdale transforms into a neon, Dr. Seuss-inspired Christmas village with oversized décor, bold cocktails and loud party vibes. The cheeky holiday chaos runs through Dec. 29.
  • Culinary Dropout in Gilbert and Tempe is serving merry cocktails, over-the-top décor and playful holiday fun through Jan. 6. Each guest will get $6 added to their tab to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of the Valley.
  • BLVD Kitchen & Bar in Scottsdale is decked with kitschy holiday décor, festive cocktails, seasonal bites and nostalgic Christmas energy through Dec. 24. Enjoy live music every Friday and Saturday plus Tank the Magician every Tuesday.
  • Pubblico Italian Eatery in Scottsdale transforms into a festive holiday haven with red-and-white décor, shimmering garlands, cozy Italian comfort food and peppermint-forward cocktails. The seasonal celebration runs through Dec. 30.
  • Omni Tempe Hotel at ASU hosts the Jingle & Mingle Holiday Pop-Up Bar daily in December with festive bites, cocktails, seasonal treats and a holiday prize wheel. Guests are encouraged to wear their best ugly Christmas sweaters for a lively, spirited celebration.

If you’d rather stretch your legs between drinks, a pub crawl might be more your style.

December 2025 holiday bar crawls in metro Phoenix

Good news: In addition to the above holiday pop-up bars, there’s also an assortment of festive holiday bar crawls to enjoy ahead of Christmas.

Crawl Before Christmas in Glendale, Dec. 6

This Westgate holiday bar crawl features drink specials, festive characters, mini-games and prizes. It starts at Lumberjaxes, and guests have to check in between 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Holiday outfits are encouraged for reward categories. Each ticket comes with perks at Lumberjaxes, Dave & Buster’s and PopStroke.

The event concludes with an afterparty from 7 to 10 p.m., featuring music and an awards ceremony. Prizes will be given for Best Dressed and Best Group Costume, and guests who complete all stops in the Elf on the Shelf hunt will be entered into a raffle. The awards will be announced at 7:30 p.m.

Jingle Bars Holiday Bar Crawl in Mesa, Dec. 6

More than 12 participating bars are offering exclusive holiday-themed cocktails and drinks. Guests check in under the tree at 1 N. Macdonald around 2 p.m.

Scottsdale Santa Crawl, Dec. 13

This festive holiday bar crawl in Old Town invites guests to celebrate in ugly Christmas sweaters while enjoying drink specials and lively holiday cheer. Tickets include admission to all participating bars, plus three drinks for just a penny each, along with additional specials and surprises.

This event runs from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tickets start at $15.83. More details about the starting location, check-in process and schedule will be released on Dec. 12.

Sippin’ Santas Pub Crawl in downtown Chandler, Dec. 13

This self-guided crawl features 27 restaurants and bars, offering $5 cocktail specials, food and live entertainment.

The event runs from noon to 6 p.m., with two ticket options:

  • Nice List: noon–3 p.m.
  • Naughty List: 3–6 p.m.

Guests must check in at the downtown Chandler office at 178 W. Boston Street up to 30 minutes before their ticketed time.
