PHOENIX — Folks in Phoenix’s Sunnyslope neighborhood will soon have a new store to shop at when they take on a home improvement project.

Harbor Freight announced Wednesday that it will open a new location at 8911 N. Seventh Street, just south of the intersection of Seventh Street and Dunlap Avenue.

“We’ve been looking to open another location in Phoenix for a number of years so that we can provide the tools and equipment at tremendous values to the community,” Harbor Freight Senior Vice President of Real Estate and Construction Trey Feiler said in a press release.

Construction is currently underway on the tool store, which is filling a storefront that previously was a Walgreens.

An exact opening date has not been announced, but doors are expected to open in January, according to Harbor Freight’s website.
