Robert Townsend’s Pop-Up Film Festival will be held at Columbia College Chicago and across downtown Chicago on Saturday and Sunday.
CHICAGO (WLS) — A Chicago native has been in the entertainment business for 50 years, acting, writing, directing and producing.
This weekend, Robert Townsend will be hosting a Pop-Up Film Festival at multiple locations in downtown Chicago, helping raise money for local charities.

Townsend joined ABC7 on Wednesday with Troy Pryor, producer and founder of Creative Cypher, to talk more about the event.

Robert Townsend’s Pop-Up Film Festival begins at 11 a.m. Saturday and runs for two days.
