Happy Thursday,

I always enjoy rewatching classic Christmas films when the holiday season rolls around. Two of my favorites: “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” and “Last Holiday.”

But in between every rewatch, I broaden my horizons by clicking play on a movie I haven’t seen. For example, I watched “Falling For Christmas” for the first time last year. It wasn’t bad but definitely didn’t crack my top 10.

If you’re also looking for a new holiday film to watch, try this unique opportunity Saturday at Artes de la Rosa in Fort Worth’s Northside.

The arts organization is hosting the red carpet premiere of Lúcido Films’ new short movie, “A Feliz Navidad: A Family’s Journey to Reconnection.” The event will feature mariachi, folklórico dancers and festive good eats.
