SAN ANTONIO – The city is preparing for its first-ever marathon this weekend, which has already sold out.

More than 18,000 runners from all 50 states and 25 countries are expected to fill the downtown area.

The weekend’s events include a 5K on Friday and an expo at the convention center. The half and full marathons are scheduled for Sunday morning.
