The weekend is expected to start dreary and cloudy before sunshine and slightly warmer weather return to Dallas-Fort Worth.

High temperatures are expected to top out near 53 degrees on Friday, with some sun and partial clearing expected in the latter part of the day, according to the National Weather Service‘s Fort Worth office.

Temperatures are forecast to drop to 39 during the overnight into Saturday with a light south wind, the weather service said.

Clear and sunny conditions are expected with temperatures expected to rise to the upper 50s for both Saturday and Sunday, the weather service said.

Much of the upcoming week is forecast to be clear and sunny with no chance of rain at least till Thursday. Day temperatures are likely to be on the warmer end highs in the 60s.
