PHOENIX (AZFamily) — New technology can be dauting, and even sometimes confusing, as you’re learning how to use it. However, a new resource in the Valley is helping people of all ages get plugged in and connected.
There’s a new Cox innovation lab at Chicanos Por la Causa’s Casa de Primavera healthy aging program in west Phoenix. The lab serves as a digital learning space complete with computers, iPads, TVs and even virtual reality headsets!
The lab is meant to serve the nonprofit’s residents and their families, providing seniors, youth and community members with hands-on access to technology, programs and training needed in the digital world.
Staff help people complete Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS) forms, navigate telehealth platforms and safely stay connected with friends and family.
Thank you to Chicanos Por la Causa for doing Something Good for the community!
