The holidays are here and Philadelphia is celebrating with the annual tree lighting ceremony at the Independence Blue Cross RiverRink Winterfest!
The event takes place on Friday, Dec. 5, 2025, from 6 p.m. through 9 p.m. on 101 South Columbus Boulevard in Philadelphia.
The ceremony includes live entertainment, special guests, ice skating, seasonal treats, a fire pit and performances by the Philly All Star Band, Bianca Ryan, Power Surge, Shekhinah B, Betsy Daily Dancers, Ryan Coleman, TY Kingsley, and more.
At 8 p.m., PECO will help power 15,850 lights to illuminate the 45-foot holiday tree.
Before the ceremony, NBC10 First Alert Weather meteorologist Bill Henley will do a tree lighting forecast during NBC10 News at 4 and NBC10 News at 5. He will also do a live interview during NBC10 News at 7.
