PHOENIX (AZFamily) — Phoenix police have arrested a suspect in two separate murders that happened five days apart in north Phoenix.
Adalberto Pablo Cordova Torres, 21, is being held on two counts of first-degree murder in connection with the crimes that happened late last month.

The first happened around 3:15 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 24, outside a strip mall near 19th Avenue and Greenway Road. Officers responded to reports of a shooting and found a man dead at the scene. The victim has since been identified as 45-year-old Marcus Adams.
Then, shortly before 2 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, Phoenix police were called to check on an injured person near 19th Avenue and Thunderbird Road — a mile south of the previous homicide. There, officers found a man dead from multiple gunshot wounds. He was later identified as 29-year-old Andreas Samual Olguin.
While details are currently limited, Phoenix police confirm they linked Torres to the shootings through ballistics. Investigators say those tests also tied Torres to a drive-by shooting near 1st Drive and Greenway Parkway days before, on Nov. 11. No one was injured in that incident.
In addition to the murder charges, Torres is also jailed on one count of discharging a firearm at a residence. He’s being held on a $3 million bond.
