Here on the first leg of the official holiday season, we’ve already published numerous articles on all the festive things to do in the City of Grapevine. A recent article from CN Traveler suggests that true holiday merriment has been under our noses this entire time. A recent article from CN Traveler hailed Dallas as one of the most all-out Christmas cities in the U.S.
The article entitled “25 U.S. Cities That Go All Out for Christmas“, CN Traveler published a list of the best cities in the country in which to spend a wonderful Christmas time. In the company of Chicago, New York City, and Aspen, is none other than Dallas, Texas.

In its write-up of the city, the publication commended the Big D’s numerous Christmas experiences, shouting out Holiday at the Arboretum, Dallas Zoo Lights, and Galleria Dallas Ice Skating Center.
Here’s what the publication had to say:
“Proving you don’t need cold temperatures to get in the Christmas spirit, the holiday celebrations in Dallas put most northern cities to shame. Most notable is the Holiday at the Arboretum… a Christmas village, with millions of lights, a 50-foot tree with lights animated to music, and visits with Santa Claus. Elsewhere in town, you can drive through the Dallas Zoo Lights route… and skate next to the country’s tallest indoor Christmas tree at the Galleria Dallas Ice Skating Center”.

The publication also recommended the Miracle pop-up at Royal 38 and staying at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek.
