What to know about the FIFA Fan Village in NYC

The New York/New Jersey official Fan Village will be hosted by the NYNJ Host Committee, in partnership with Telemundo and Rockefeller Center, in Midtown Manhattan.

Celebrating with live match screenings, interactive experiences and cultural programming, Rockefeller Center will transform for the World Cup.

The celebratory atmosphere will extend across the entire Rockefeller campus. The ice rink will be transformed into a “vibrant football pitch,” the official New York/New Jersey FIFA website says. The pitch will be surrounded by large screens to watch live match broadcasts. From July 4 through the 19, the Top of the Rock will also be part of the Fan Village.

Additional Fan Zones are to be announced.
