After 15 years, Joe Jonas hasn’t lost his sense of humor when it comes to portraying Shane Gray in Camp Rock 3.
While plenty of millennials were likely over the moon about Friday’s teaser for the follow-up released by Disney+ and Disney Channel, the Jonas Brother had a playful response for one critic of the upcoming movie musical, scheduled to premiere in Summer 2026.
“Genuine question are the Jonas Brothers in serious debt or something,” the critic posted to X, prompting Joe to respond by referencing a line from the teaser: “God forbid Connect 3 go back to where Connect 3 connected.”
On Thursday, Disney released the first teaser for Camp Rock 3, seeing Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas reprising their roles as Connect 3 (aka the Gray Brothers) as they return to the titular camp to discover a new generation of young talents.
The trio executive produced the threequel with Demi Lovato, who previously co-starred as camper Mitchie Torres in Camp Rock (2008) and Camp Rock 2 (2010).

In addition to the Jonas Brothers, Maria Canals-Barrera reprises her role as Connie, with Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Sherry Cola, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts and Ava Jean also joining the trilogy.
Camp Rock 3 picks up when Connect 3 loses their opening act for a major reunion tour, returning to their beloved Camp Rock to discover the next big thing. As campers vie for the chance to open for their favorite band, tensions rise, and friendships are tested, leading to unexpected alliances, revelations and romances. Camp Rock’s all-new campers include bold and determined Sage (Segura) and her easygoing brother Desi (Stone), camp bad boy Fletch (Barton), cello prodigy Rosie (Pollack), drummer with his own beat Cliff (Trotter), choreo queen Callie (Pitts) and intimidating influencer Madison (Jean).
The upcoming Disney movie comes after the brothers starred together in A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, now available to stream on Disney+.
