The APS Electric Light Parade is set to meander through Phoenix, spreading cheer with its bright displays.
Spectators are welcome to bring chairs and blankets to say comfy and toasty. While coolers with drinks and snacks are allowed along the parade route, alcohol and anything in glass containers is not.
The parade route covers 2.3 miles. It starts at Central and Montebello avenues, heads south to Camelback Road then east along Camelback to Seventh Street, where it goes south on Seventh to Indian School Road.
As a result, these Phoenix streets will be closed from 5 to 11 p.m. Dec. 6:
- Central Avenue from Camelback Road to Bethany Home Road.
- Seventh Street from Indian School Road to Osborn Road.
- Camelback Road from First Avenue to Seventh Street.
