Jacksonville’s playoff run ends in shootout, 31-21 loss to Middle Creek

JACKSONVILLE, N.C. (WITN) – In an upsetting loss, the Cardinals have finished out their season 31-21 to the Mustangs.

Tonight, Middle Creek defeated Jacksonville in the 6A East regional final.

This was Jacksonville’s first loss of the season, as they were undefeated up until tonight.

Jacksonville last went to a state championship game in 2018, but has not won the state title since 1982.
