A shooting near a shopping center in Dallas’ Red Bird neighborhood Saturday night left a 33-year-old man dead and four others injured, Dallas police said in a statement.
Officials responded to reports of a shooting in the 2600 block of W. Wheatland Road Saturday at about 9:55 p.m.
The preliminary investigation determined five people were shot at the location. Joseph Premeaux, 33, was taken to a hospital where he died, police said.
The four other victims were also transported to a hospital, where one is in critical condition and three are in stable condition.
