’90s Child Actor ‘Still Looking Fabulous’ 29 Years After Iconic Film originally appeared on Parade.
Former ’90s child star Lisa Jakub shared a photo of herself in Independence Day 29 years after the iconic film—and one fan declared she is “still looking fabulous” today.
On Friday, July 4, the actress, 46, took to Instagram with a side-by-side image of herself in 1996 next to a recent snap.
“29 years ago,” Jakub captioned her update. “Still really damn worried about what’s out there.”
In the throwback, she looked off to the side with a furrowed brow in character as Alicia Casse in Independence Day, also starring Will Smith, Bill Pullman, Mary McDonnell, Jeff Goldblum and more.
“I mean, we probably deserve whatever we get at this point,” Jakub joked of the alien invasion film. “Be safe this weekend, y’all. #independenceday.”
In the comments, Jakub’s followers flooded the actress, who also memorably starred as Lydia Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire alongside Robin Williams, with messages of praise and nostalgia.
One Instagram user declared, “Wow, I had such a school boy crush for you. And you’re still looking fabulous.”
