While North Texas is forecast to have sunny weather this week, it will remain chilly with temperatures starting in the low 30s Monday and creeping up slightly on Tuesday.

On Monday, the low temperature at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport will bottom out at 33 degrees before rising to the mid-50s, according to the National Weather Service’s Fort Worth office.

The day will be mostly clear and sunny with winds from the north at about 5 mph, becoming calm in the morning.

Low temperatures in Dallas-Fort Worth this month have remained in the 30s, with the coolest temperature so far this month being 30 degrees on Dec. 2, according to the weather service.
