Three people were injured when gunfire broke out at a large gathering in North Philadelphia early Sunday, officials said.
According to police, three people have been hospitalized after, at least, 27 shots were fired when shooting erupted at a gathering along the 2200 block of Edgely Street, in North Philadelphia, after about 1:40 a.m.
Officials said all three of the victims — who police have not provided further information on — were listed in stable condition on Sunday morning.
Police said that officers had to break up the gathering when they arrived at the scene.
Early Sunday, NBC10’s crews saw police removing a vehicle from the scene as investigators were working at the site.
However, police have not yet provided further information on what led to this incident or if any suspects have been identified.
But, officials said an investigation is ongoing.
