San Antonio — The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force is asking for help to find 50-year-old Benjamin Pesina, wanted on an active arrest warrant for violating the conditions of his supervised release.

In 2021, Pesina was charged with being a felon in possession of a firearm and sentenced to 24 months in prison, followed by three years of supervised release. Investigators say he violated that release after he assaulted his girlfriend, leading the court to impose a no-contact condition. He is then accused of assaulting her again by shoving her into a wall, threatening her with a knife, and destroying her phone. Those alleged violations led to the current warrant for his arrest.

Pesina is described as a Hispanic man, born November 1, 1975, in Texas. He is about 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs around 180 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. Authorities say he has several distinctive tattoos, including a dragon on his back, a skull on his left shoulder, and the word “Daisy” on his right forearm. Officials warn that fugitives on the run may try to change their appearance to avoid being recognized.

His last known residence was on the West Side of San Antonio.
