PHOENIX (KVOA) – The Arizona Game and Fish Commission is calling for nominations for its 2025 Commission Awards.
These awards honor and recognize Arizonans that have made significant contributions to Arizona’s wildlife conservation, outdoor heritage and the Arizona Game and Fish Department’s (AZGFD) mission statement.
There are 13 award categories for nominees including volunteer of the year, conservationist of the year and award of excellence.
Nominations, which can include individuals, organizations, clubs, foundations, or government agencies, need to be submitted by 5 p.m. on Aug. 13, 2025. However, AZGFD employees are not eligible for nomination.
