SAN ANTONIO – An investigation is underway after a reported shooting Tuesday on the East Side has caused road closures in the area.
San Antonio police officers were dispatched just after 4 p.m. Tuesday to the Artisan at Willow Springs Apartments in the 500 block of Gembler Road.
The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to KSAT that the shooting involved a Bexar County constable. At this time, it is unclear how the constable was impacted in the shooting.

Authorities have closed nearby roads as they work the scene.
