GAINESVILLE, Fla. (WCJB) – More than 26,000 Florida homes and businesses will now have high-speed internet thanks to a project in Marion County.
North Central Florida congresswoman Kat Cammack joined Spectrum Internet officials Friday morning at Goldmark Farms.
Cammack said projects like these show the importance of providing resources in rural communities.
“This is amazing that we are seeing such an incredible investment and partnership come together and really deliver,” Cammack said. “I couldn’t be more thrilled to support the process.”
Other federal, state, and local officials gave presentations on Marion County and future rural network expansion projects across Florida.
