JSO responding to reported Westside shooting with multiple injuries

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is responding to a reported Wednesday night shooting on Edgewood and Broadway avenues.

A large portion of the Paxon Shopping Center plaza was blocked off due to the investigation.

According to Jacksonville Fire and Rescue, multiple people were taken to the hospital.

Two people in connection with the shooting were injured, with one in life-threatening condition, JFRD said. Another individual was also taken to the hospital, but it’s not clear if they are connected to the same incident.
