The leak has stopped, officials say, but Atmos Energy crews are still on scene.

ARLINGTON, Texas — Atmos Energy crews responded to a natural gas leak in Arlington, leading to a closure on West Randol Mill Road.

According to the Arlington Fire Department, the leak has since stopped, but the roadway in the 2600 block of West Randol Mill Road is still closed in both directions. Atmos crews are still on scene.

Drivers are asked to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

According to the Arlington Fire Department (AFD), the odor was drifting south toward Woodbine Street, but monitors didn’t show any gas alerts.
